In Melbourne, the US, Australia, Japan, and India have begun talks.

On Friday, top diplomats from the United States, Australia, Japan, and India met in Melbourne to discuss strengthening its Quad alliance in order to counter China's growing clout in the Asia-Pacific region.The group's importance in establishing collaboration among democracies was highlighted by Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, who made a thinly veiled allusion to his country's tense relationship with Beijing. He told the visiting authorities, "We live in a very unstable, fractured, and contested world." He remarked, "We stand up to those who would want to coerce us."

Morrison said it was a "huge comfort" that the three other Quad members understood "the coercion and the pressure that Australia has been subjected to," without mentioning China by name. Even while the issue of Russia's danger to Ukraine is currently occupying Washington's attention, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that the longer-term issue is China's emerging dominance.

Haryana's Appeal On Quota Stay In Private Jobs Will Be Heard By The Supreme Court

As Justice Rao put it, "We've been told that similar policies exist in Jharkhand and Andhra Pradesh, and that they're being challenged in High Courts. They were mentioned in an editorial today."
